Tompkins' tales told via new blog

Composer and flute player Fred Tompkins recently got in touch to pass along news of his new blog, Third Stream Media. So far, the site includes posts recalling some of Tompkins' early career experiences in NYC, where he met and worked with jazz greats such as Elvin Jones and Dave Liebman, as well as information on his current musical activities.
