The St. Louis-based label MAXJAZZ has just released a new CD by trumpeter Terell Stafford. Taking Chances - Live at the Dakota is Stafford's second CD for the label, following up on 2003's New Beginnings.
In addition to Stafford's new recording and an upcoming CD from pianist Mulgrew Miller, MAXJAZZ also has 2007 releases planned for guitarist Russell Malone, pianist Dena DeRose and trumpeter Jeremy Pelt.
The label also continues to offer special pricing on purchases made directly from its website. Buyers can get up to four CDs from the MAXJAZZ catalog at $12.99 each when they buy one at the regular price of $16.99, with free shipping in the U.S.
