Washington University's Jazz at Holmes series will begin the second half of its 2005-06 season at 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 26 with a performance from pianist Peter Martin. Martin is the U. City native turned New Orleanian who serves as music director for vocalist Dianne Reeves, and also helmed the recent Big River Hurricane Relief benefit at the Sheldon.
Jazz at Holmes concerts take place most Thursday nights while school is in session. All shows are free and open to the public and take place in Holmes Lounge, Ridgley Hall, which is located on the west side of Brookings Quadrangle, near the intersection of Brookings and Hoyt drives on the Washington University campus.
