If you flipped on your TV set at 6:30 p.m. last Sunday night and tuned in to Charter Cable's Channel 8 expecting to see the premiere of the new Jazz @ Cookie's series featuring live performances from St. Louis musicians, you already know that the program did not make its debut at the previously announced time.
Producer-host Valerie Tichacek tells us that there was some sort of last-minute snafu on the Friday before the premiere involving insurance paperwork that caused Charter Cable to temporarily pull the show from the schedule. Tichacek and co-producer Owen Woodard are working to resolve the problem, and hope to have news soon about the a new premiere date. We'll keep you posted.
