Kirk Whalum to appear at Brandt's
on March 23 & 24

Kirk Whalum

Tenor and soprano saxophonist Kirk Whalum is known internationally as a recording artist and a versatile performer who can handle diverse genres including smooth jazz, R&B, pop, funk and gospel with equal skill.

Hugh "Peanuts" Whalum is a pianist, singer and multi-instrumentalist who's been a St. Louis mainstay since the Gaslight Square era. He's also Kirk's uncle, and the two will get a rare opportunity to perform together when Kirk comes to St. Louis later this month to join his Uncle Hugh for two nights at Brandt's in the U. City loop. Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 23 or Friday, March 24 if you'd like to check out this musical family reunion, and go visit Brandt's Web site for more details.
