Moon Hooch, the trio of former buskers whose funky saxophones-and-drums sound has prompted press coverage from the likes of NPR and the Wall Street Journal, has added an entry to their upcoming tour calendar showing them returning to St. Louis to perform at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at 2720 Cherokee.
After getting their start performing in NYC subway stations, Moon Hooch (pictured) released their self-titled debut album in 2013. That was followed in the fall of 2014 by This Is Cave Music, which augmented their stripped-down live sound with synthesizers, vocals, and some post-production tinkering. They previously played here in St. Louis last June and again in October, both times at 2720 Cherokee.
Although their upcoming gig at 2720 Cherokee is listed on the Moon Hooch website, there's been no announcement yet about ticket prices or an on-sale date. StLJN will have more on this if/when more details are disclosed...
