Pollstar: Frank Vignola returning to the Bistro in May 2009

The online tour information service Pollstar has just added a listing indicating that guitarist Frank Vignola will be returning to St. Louis next year to perform Wednesday, May 13 through Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Jazz at the Bistro.

As always, any early notification from Pollstar should be considered unconfirmed until officially announced by the venue. Jazz St. Louis usually announces the Bistro's season schedule in May, and should this date be confirmed, it would represent Vignola's third St. Louis gig in less than two years. He performed last week at the Sheldon Concert Hall, recording a DVD that will be released by Mel Bay Records, and also played at the Bistro for four nights in October 2007.
