Let's Get Lost, the 1988 film biography of jazz trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker (pictured), has been re-released to movie theaters in a new 35mm print, and will play the Tivoli Theatre in University City from Friday, February 8 through Friday, February 15.
Filmmaker Bruce Weber traveled extensively with Baker during the last year of the trumpeter's life to capture rare performance footage and interviews for the film, which won the 1989 Critics Prize at the Venice Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. St. Louis Post-Dispatch movie critic Joe Williams reviews the re-release of Let's Get Lost here.
