Singer Erin Bode and her band got back last week from a trip to South Africa, the group's second visit there since Bode got involved in raising funds for the Themba Trust, which benefits a South African school. Bode and her group collaborated with the "Themba Girls" choir from the school on a recent CD, and made this trip to record a follow-up with the boys choir.
Right now, though, Bode's packing a suitcase again and heading to Salt Lake City for a concert to benefit the project to be held this Saturday at SLC's Capitol Theater. The event was the subject of a substantial feature story in the Salt Lake Tribune, which you can read online here.
