Vocalist Danita Mumphard has a new CD, Watch God Work, ready for release this fall and to celebrate, she'll be performing both gospel and jazz in a concert on Saturday, October 27 at the Lee Auditorium in the Missouri History Museum.
Although the title of Mumphard's new recording suggests that it will emphasize the sacred side of her repertoire, jazz should be well represented at the October concert with guest stars including Trio Tres Bien and saxophonist Rod Tate. Tickets for the show will be available via Metrotix beginning September 10.
