Jazz Hits Volume 1, the debut CD from jazz guitar group MB3 released late last year by St. Louis-based Mel Bay Records, has topped the JazzWeek Radio Charts for the last two weeks. MB3 features local guitarist Corey Christiansen along with fellow plectrists Vic Juris and Jimmy Bruno, bassist Jay Anderson and drummer Danny Gottleib.JazzWeek purports to offer "the definitive Jazz and Smooth Jazz national radio airplay chart—a weekly report of the top fifty Jazz and Smooth Jazz recordings played on radio stations across the United States and Canada."
