Jazz at Holmes announces Fall 2006 schedule

The organizers of the Jazz at Holmes concert series at Washington University have announced their schedule of performances for this fall. The free concerts are held in the Holmes Lounge on the Wash U campus at 8 p.m. most Thursdays during the school year. The lineup includes:

Steve Schenkel w/ members of the Fox/MUNY orchestra

Peter Martin and Maurice Carnes

Eric Stiller

Paul DeMarinis and Carolbeth True

Phil Dunlap
Most of these musicians are already familiar to St. Louis jazz fans, the main exception being Eric Stiller, a Berklee-educated bassist from Southern California who's done road time with Maynard Ferguson and recorded and performed with Bill Watrous, Pete Christlieb, Bobby Shew and Roy McCurdy.
