Cunningham heads to Michigan for festival gig

Traditional jazz bands like Cornet Chop Suey and Jean Kittrell and the St. Louis Rivermen aren't the only St. Louis-based jazz acts hitting the road to play some festivals this summer. Smooth jazz saxophonist Tim Cunningham currently calls the Gateway City home, but this weekend, he's back in his old hometown in Michigan to play the Lansing Jazz Festival. You can read an interview one of the the local papers did with Cunningham here, and more about the festival here.
