The StLJN Saturday cartoon:
"The Pied Piper of Basin Street"

This week's Saturday jazz 'toon was produced in 1946 by the Walter Lantz studio, the same folks who brought the world characters such as Woody Woodpecker and, one of my personal favorites, the comfort-seeking penguin Chilly Willy.

It's called "The Pied Piper of Basin Street," and was directed by James "Shamus" Culhane with a musical soundtrack by Jack Teagarden.
