The StLJN Saturday cartoon:
"All The Cats Join In"

For the second installment of our Saturday morning 'toons-with-jazz series, here's one produced by Disney Studios in 1946.

"All The Cats Join In" is from the feature-length film Make Mine Music. Like the more famous Fantasia, this movie featured a number of different segments, each with its own story and score - in this case, there are ten different sections, with popular music from the 1940s instead of classical. "Cats" was directed by Jack Kinney, and features music from the "King of Swing," clarinetist Benny Goodman.
