Folloiwng up on a couple of prior items, two recent media appearances of St. Louis-connected musicians mentioned earlier in this space are now available for online streaming.
Singer Erin Bode appeared on the Fox News cable network show Fox and Friends last Saturday, and there's streaming video is now available on the show's Web site. Go here, and under "famous faces" you'll see Bode's picture; click on it to watch her segment. (The page uses some sort of embedded video player, and I can't figure out how to link directly to the clip.)
Meanwhile, saxophonist's Greg Osby's recent radio interview, conducted by Leroy "The Jazzcat" Downs and broadcast last week on KRML in Carmel, CA can now be accessed in MP3 format here.
And on a sort-of-related note, both Bode and Osby have made some of their music available for download, too. Bode has put up MP3s of three tracks from her current CD on her Web site, including "Holiday," the title track "Over and Over," and her version of Paul Simon's "Graceland.". Osby's site has a lot of live recordings, representing different ensemble configurations and time periods, and there's so music that it takes two pages on his site to access it all.
