The St. Louis Art Museum is hosting a series of free events called "Art after Five " featuring food, drink and, on the fourth Friday of each month, live music: Or, as they put it, the event includes "light hors d'oeuvres and bar service in Sculpture Hall, dinner in Puck's Restaurant, gallery tours, and free admission to featured exhibitions every Friday from 5-9 pm, with an exciting schedule of live entertainment the fourth Friday of every month."
Jazz is part of the music mix, with the fine pianist Ptah Williams scheduled to perform from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at this Friday's event, and guitarist Dave Black set to play on Friday, February 24. Then, fittingly enough for the week after St. Patrick's Day, Irish harpist Eileen Gannon will perform on Friday, March 24 - and that's as far as the schedule on the Art Museum's site goes right now. We'll try to keep you apprised of any future jazz-related developments, and of, course, you can also check the Museum's events page for updates.
