Matt Wilson's Arts and Crafts to appear
at SLU on Saturday, January 21

This just in: Critically acclaimed jazz drummer Matt Wilson will bring his band Arts and Crafts to St. Louis University for a concert on Saturday, January 21. The show is part of a brief Midwestern tour that also includes stops in Chicago and Columbia, MO.

Arts and Crafts was formed in 2000 and includes Wilson on drums, Larry Goldings on keyboards, Terrell Stafford on trumpet and Dennis Irwin on bass. The band has two CDs on the Palmetto label, the most recent being 2004's Wake Up! (To What's Happening).

Their St. Louis concert will begin at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21 at Saint Louis University's Xavier Hall Theatre, 3733 West Pine Mall, 63118. Tickets will be on sale at the door only (no advance or credit card sales) and will cost $10 for students and $20 for general admission. Parking will be available at the SLU Laclede St. garage, and a guest shuttle will run from the parking garage to the hall.
