Guitarist Bruce Forman to give
free concert, clinic on Tuesday

"There is a special concert tomorrow night, Tuesday, in Whittaker Hall at 8:00 pm. Jazz guitarist Bruce Forman and his band Cowbop will be playing free, and giving a clinic the same day at noon in the music classroom building.

Bruce Forman's guitar playing is feature in the film "Million Dollar Baby," and he has been featured as a leader as well as sideman at most of the prestigous festivals and concert venues throughout the world. His numerous recording and performing credits include the likes of Bobby Hutcherson, Ray Brown, Stanley Turrentine, Joe Henderson, and Barney Kessel. Known for bop-style phrasing and inventive harmonizations, his ability to work in a variety of settings keeps him in constant demand.
