Jazz St. Louis has announced additional bookings for Jazz at the Bistro filling the open dates for winter and spring 2011 in their previously announced season.
Most of the musicians booked are local, but two touring acts have been added to the schedule as well. Guitarist Julian Lage will make his Bistro debut in a one-night engagement on Friday, March 25, and the all-star hard-bop band Jazz Collective, with pianist Cedar Walton (pictured) saxophonist Javon Jackson, drummer Jimmy Cobb and bassist Buster Williams, will perform on Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23.

Ticket prices range from $15 to $25 for local acts, and are $20 for Julian Lage and $35 for the Jazz Collective. Single tickets will go on sale to Jazz at the Bistro subscribers at 10:00 a.m. this Monday, December 13, and to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20 via Metrotix.
