The online tour information service Pollstar has added a listing that shows singer Kurt Elling (pictured) returning to St. Louis to perform Wednesday, December 2 through Saturday, December 5 at Jazz at the Bistro.Elling, acknowledged by critics and fans one of the top male vocalists in jazz, is no stranger to St. Louis audiences or the Bistro, having played the club most recently back in November, 2007.
While the prospect of a return engagement therefore seems quite plausible, as always, any show listed on Pollstar should be considered unconfirmed until there's an official announcement from the presenter or venue. Jazz St. Louis is expected to announce the 2009-10 season schedule for the Bistro some time in the next few weeks.
