Pollstar: Guitarist John Jorgenson to perform at the Sheldon in April 2009

The online concert information service Pollstar has added a listing indicating that guitarist John Jorgenson will perform at the Sheldon Concert Hall on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Jorgenson has played rock and country with the Desert Rose Band and the Hellecasters and worked as a sideman for pop star Elton John, but in his own group he focuses on swing and Gypsy jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. He performed in St. Louis most recently in September 2007 as part of Trinity Presbyterian Church's "Reverberations" concert series.
