Pollstar: Dave Holland to play the Sheldon in January 2009

From the "Coming Attractions" file: The online tour information service Pollstar has added a listing showing bassist Dave Holland performing at the Sheldon Concert Hall on Saturday, January 24, 2009.

As always, we caution readers that Pollstar's information, though often reliable, should be considered unconfirmed until the date is officially announced by the venue. Assuming his booking at the Sheldon comes through, this will be Holland's third appearance in St. Louis in recent years. He performed with his Big Band at the 2003 St. Louis Jazz and Heritage Festival, and with his Quintet in March 2007 at Jazz at the Bistro.
