The Ramsey Lewis Trio
Ramsey Lewis can currently be seen hosting PBS' new Legends of Jazz series, which airs in St. Louis at 10:30 p.m. Fridays on KETC, Channel 9. As host, Lewis lets his TV guests do most of the playing, but area jazz fans willl have a chance to see the pianist strut his stuff in person this summer when he and his trio perform at Principia College in nearby Elsah, IL on Saturday, July 29. No ticket info available as yet, but keep an eye on Principia's Web site for more information.
